The Bad wife

Hello! wonderful people of God hope you’re all doing great by the unfailing power of the almighty God.Ive been out for some days now due to one or two reasons. I had an inspiration from God and spoke about it in my church last week Sunday. one of the problems we have in this end time is the ignorance about the relationship between Christians and God,believe it. Lack of information leads to abuse and destruction.

I spoke about the relationship between God and his bride. I am very sure that you’re not unaware that every Christian is married to Christ. There are four kinds of women illustrated in the bible which is;

1.Eve (the natural woman)2.The woman seen in the vision(Revelation 21)  3.Th bride of Christ(the believer) 4.Christian wife(Ephesians 5)

Christ is the husband of every believer and he being the husband and head has the sole responsibility to provide everything a husband must provide for his wife. Christ needs us and we also need Christ just as a wife needs the husband.
A wife must still be submissive to the husband since the husband is the head,she must ask of anything from him before doing something that pleases her. A good wife is the the one that holds to the commandments of her husband,everything they both produce takes it rudiment from the husband since he is the head,source and provider of the family.
For we all know that every wife is a helper and a helper is likened to either a weaker(imperfect) or substantial vessel as the bible stated. In every situation the wife must still seek the help of the husband. Helpers of God’s vineyard are the same as God’s wives,a wife and helper of God’s work must work adequately to yield much in other to please her husband(God). The same thing applies to our physical husbands we have on earth,a married woman must be productive and fertile. In other words being fruitful in every arena she finds herself. Failure to do that makes her a useless and a bad wife.
If you study the meaning of a woman in the bible it clearly elaborates the worth,duty and the importance of how women contribute to the progression of the church and her marital home. From the book of Genesis,every woman has the potential to produce or reproduce,Eve(woman) means life or enliven that means every wife must be fertile and productive. I have heard a proverb from some elderly men that if a man is not successful in life the wife must be questioned and I’ve been contemplating about this very often and I think it’s absolutely right from the information the bible brings about women(wife),why? This is because God gave women as a gift to man in other for man to progress. The gift ,domain and purpose of man can only be successful with the help of a woman. You know Christ used this to set as an example between him and every believer. The purpose of him can only be accomplished by the hard work of his wife,the believer.
Christians are brides and gifts God gave to Jesus,to nurture before maturity and the end of all things. Jesus prayed to his father in heaven that the disciple he worked with are gifts God gave him.
John 17:6-9
“I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. I am praying for them.

This clearly shows that every believer is a gift from God to Jesus. I’m sure he is still interceding for us in heaven. If you look at the story of the fig tree Jesus cursed it simply because of the lack of productivity the tree couldn’t bear. Jesus cursed the tree because it was blossoming yet with no fruit and it withered instantly. The scriptures says a bad wife destroys her home and would find no favor before her husband but a good wife receives grace and favor before his lord or husband,be a good wife.

 

STEWARDS OF OUR BODIES

 

Our bodies belong to the Lord, thus we are to take care of our bodies for Lord. The Christian therefore needs to give himself to the Lord before giving all other things such as talents,gifts,money and home. Since the body is God’s,we are entreated to present it to God as a living sacrifice as stated in;

Romans 12:1

 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

In postmodern world, even truth has become relative. People use their bodies for all kinds of vices,so I found it would be very informative on how to be good stewards of our bodies and not exchange it for evil desires. One of the greatest hindrances to God’s work is the failure of Christians to avail themselves as ready vessels. Some do not take good care of their bodies and therefore are not healthy while others suffer from physical weakness. For this reason,they do not fit into tasks that call for healthy workers. Other things like personal hygiene,what and how we eat show how we serve as good stewards of our bodies.

As good stewards of our bodies,we should refrain from back-biting, slander,cursing and raining insults on people especially our children. The same goes with what we look at, and what we do with our bodies. Job said in Job 31:1 “I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a girl”.We must make a covenant with our bodies not to abuse them through sexual immorality,gluttony and stress.

Why are we not preaching the gospel?

This is a kind of question I’ve have been asking my self of late. Though we know many reasons why we should share the gospel,unfortunately,however,many people do not share the Gospel. We give many excuses not witnessing about Jesus.

Jonah is an example of a man who was given the Gospel but refused to share it. When he repented,God spared his life so he could go and witness. May his life challenge us to rise from our “slumber” and go out to share the good news of Jesus Christ. You can pause and ask yourself, “when was the last time I shared Christ with somebody”?

What excuses are you giving? Jonah’s decision to flee instead of sharing the gospel affected so many people. The implication of neglecting to evangelize includes; the loss and waste of ripened harvest,blood from negligent soul winners and spiritual decline,stunted growth of the local church and delay in answer to prayer. Every believer must therefore wake up to this great responsibility of sharing the Gospel.

NO EXCUSES.

(2Peter 3:9)The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.n

Instructions to those who cause divisions

It’s been had for me to get something to write of late,today as I had some reflections after I studied the scriptures this is what I found. And my spirit was certain that it will be beneficial and soul stirring.

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. For your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, but I want you to be wise as to what is good and innocent as to what is evil. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.(Romans 16:17-20)

 

The Law and the Grace

The law of Moses was not meant to save but rather to guide and direct the people to worship God in the temples,Why?,because the law served as a doctrine for the Jewis church(Judaism) in the synagogues.

The Ten Commandments directed the people in order for them to obey and know the ways of God at that time.This was the information that they had to receive,so it was acting as a form of church doctrine and church doctrine is different from the doctrine,salvation or teachings of our lord Jesus Christ.

Since the law was too rigid and too tight it killed many.But God made provision for another redemption to take place in man’s life.The teachings and and the law of Jesus Christ is full of grace and for that matter every church must stand on this teachings to set his church doctrine.Anything apart from the doctrine of our savior Jesus,your church doctrine maybe a curse.

Put much effort in living a godly life

2 Peter 3:14-15

So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.

 

I found this memory verse as I was reflecting on the word of God and I realized this would be the best object lesson for believers.What every believer must know is the certainty of the coming of our savior,it must be a sure thing to every believer that Jesus will come back for his church.He must meet his church blameless and spotless in other to meet his requirement for his kingdom.

Apostle Peter,the head of the earthly church and head of the Apostles pointed to us in his letter to the saints who had believed gospel that the new heavenly environment is an eternal glory for every believer.The eternal glory here is the hope of every Christian,even if it delays the occurrence will still be in place.This is known in a defying faith and it of this reason Christians are now in the place of propagating the gospel to yield much souls for Christ.The more God delays the destruction of this present heavens and earth,the more opportunity we have to enroll citizens in the world to come.

So therefore the longsuffering of the lord leads to the salvation of many souls.But the delay of his coming also leads to the condemnation of more people even those elected as saints.The world today is full of moral compromising,religious corruptions,occultism etc,many Christians are now being drifted from the faith and rather being mislead to destruction.Paul also wrote about such situation to Timothy and the churches at Corith and Galatia.Believers shouldn’t put their mindset on the change of environment and knowledge of the world,remember the world came to meet the word of God.Remain spotless,lead a righteous life in other to be free of guilt and another vital observation of every believer is to hold  on to the faith and be persevere till the great day of the lord.

Loving God

I have wondered how people comprehend to the issues concerning love of God. It is clear that the love of God for man cannot be the same as how man loves God. The measurement of God’s  love for man is infinite,there have been a great misconception about how people understands love and I’m highly convinced that it is the most misunderstood element of relationship of man.

Let me ask you a question,

How do you see love?

There are so many theories in the world that shows and prove the wholeness and integrity of love but the love of God differs outstandingly,I’m sure you must have heard of AGAPE.This is a Greek word which means LOVE and this love isn’t any type of love but the divine love.It is different from the other types of love you could think of. This love could be said as the source,originator of all that which is good.

The Agape love is powerful but many people don’t seem to recognize that this is because they lack the information about it,they do not have the knowledge and understanding about such love so such love is subverted,this ignorance tends to become generational because it is transferred from one generation to another.

I would say the concept of love is all about choice. Love is not emotional neither is it about chemical attractions between two persons of opposite sex NO!God valued man because he created man just like himself,love chooses that’s why God chose to love man back after man sinning against God in the garden.God refused to let man go to hell because God saw man in himself,this is the reason why God sent his son in his own glory to mingle with man and to die for man in other for man to be saved.

Now let’s note this,love is the force generated by decision,God decided to love us by dying for us to live again after our death and anybody who accept this must also love him back the same way he loved us. The scripture says Love serves,the love of God must compel us to love and serve him.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15

For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

We should decide to love God back because he died for our sins. All the messages spoken about love through Jesus was a command and a law,he said love your neighbor as yourself,this is a law in the old testament yet Jesus spoke of it,he also encouraged the disciples to keep his commandments if only they loved him. So love has become decision,you can decide to love your enemy because if the love of God is imperishable then your love for him and your neighbors must not fade away.

Call of confession and Call to repentance

 

God provided for man a well state of living right from the beginning of creation.He brought man to watch over things he created right in front of him,but man failed by breaking one commandment.
“Do not touch the tree in the midst of the garden lest you shall die”,man broke the law and ate from the tree.Because of guilt,man hid from the visual presentation of God.God later called him and the wife not for anything but to bring forth a confession of what they had done .Man feared the presence of God and the approach of God because there manifested a separation between him and God.(Genesis 3:8-10)

Adam and Eve experienced total wrath of God,so God cursed them from that time to their next generation and that curse worked till now.God through his loving-kindness brought his son to live among sinners in other for that gap between him and man be refilled again.
Jesus our savior being the second Adam has turned and set everything in rightful order for man to see God again.His birth has now become a memorial of which every nation,continent and any part of the world recognizes today.(Luke 5:32)

He brought a saving message from God that all mankind would still be close relationship with God,this is a promise and this promise is there for everyone that believes in him. Jesus whose birth,the world is now celebrating has called everyone who respond to him to have a share in his father’s glory.

May the birth of him the lord be of spiritual awakening and may the seal of his birth stirs you up.Enjoy with grace,heedhisword.

GOD’S POWER AND GOD’S ANOINTING

God is a spirit and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
The power of God doesn’t dwell in man manufactured things or any substances.
Christ said “the spirit of the lord is upon me so he has anointed me”

Once you receive Christ,you receive his anointing through the spirit’s baptism.
Beware God’s power doesn’t live in ornaments,creams,oil or any substance.The word is God and God is the word .If you then believe that God is powerful then the word of God is powerful because the word is God himself.
Let the word speak for you!

The believer responds to God’s love and favor

Deuteronomy 6:4-7.Hear,O Israel:the Lord our God is one Lord(the only Lord). And you shall love the Lord your God with all your (mind and) heart and with your entire being and with all your might.

And these words which I am commanding you this day shall be (first) in your own minds and hearts; (then) You shall whet and sharpen them so as to make them penetrate, and teach and impress them diligently upon the (minds and) hearts of your children,and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way,and when you lie down and when you rise up.
